First of all, I know that this internship was a great investment and priceless experience for my personality and for my future career. During my journey I had an internship in the main office at Education Office Penang Island. Then I saw how the school management is operating, doing administrative work mainly. And then I worked for the Asset department, comparing from Office Admin department is totally different. So I had a chance to learn a bit of management, marketing and administration and the whole office system.

Since I study office administration, I am supposed to be communicative frequently. And I think I used to be that kind of person more or less. But after this internship I became internationally communicative! I forced to meet new people every day! And all of them were very different people of various ages, races and cultures. Whether it was a student from Australian or other than Malaysian, I tried to form conversation in the suitable manner. So I guess I got more socialized, and my communication skills improved increasingly. I believe that language is a precious gift we have. Now we have an opportunity to break these language barriers down. And we should use this chance! I believe I got more open minded. I was defying stereotypes existing in my mind by my own experience.

I had the feeling of curiosity and interest in different ways of thinking and lifestyle. What first seemed to be weird then made sense. I did not expect that I could make real friends with people with completely different mentality. I can’t be absolutely sure about my future plans and career. Furthermore the most interesting things usually happen spontaneously, when you do not expect anything. But what I know I will keep on trying new challenges, discovering, learning and experiencing. And my intuition says everything will be awesome! ^_^ v peace~
